City Palace

Amber Fort

It is also known as Amer Fort and is located in Amer, about 11 kilometers from Jaipur. It was designed in the year 1592, by Raja Mansingh. It was later expanded by Raja Jai Singh I. A fusion of Hindu-Muslim architecture represents the red sandstone and marble stone constructions. The main entrance faces to the east and three more entrances are open. Amber Palace boasts four courtyards. The Public Audience Hall, named Diwan-i-Aam, has one of the courtyards.

Albert Hall Museum
